Gloria “Ruth” Beyer recently launched a new business, ReImagine ReMade, from herhome in De Smet.

Beyer creates one-of–a-kind handmade novelty items using mainly recycled materials.

She sells her items both directly and through her website

www.reimagineremade.com.

“One of my goals is to be eco-friendly,” she said. “That’s where the name ReImagine Remade comes from. “I can take something that is done with its first life and use it to

make something new.”

Some of her gift items include denim purses and memory boxes, wind chimes and pincushions.

“It’s something I’ve always wanted to try, she said.” It’s me. I’m doing what I love to do.”

Beyer said her

mother and sisters are all talented seamstresses.

“I come from a long line of creative women, and I have them to thank,” she said.

“Being creative is a God-given talent and I thank Him for it.”
