When is the last time you volunteered for something? Do you remember how good it made you feel? Although widely varied, most people realize some benefit from volunteering. In addition to creating personal pride and satisfaction, the act of volunteering can also solve problems, strengthen communities and improve the lives of others. That’s what De Smet’s Young Guns is all about!

The goal of Young Guns is to strengthen the De Smet community by volunteering, hosting events and getting others of all ages involved. They do so by supporting projects and activities designed to benefit De Smet as a community.

Young Guns is a fun-loving group of more than fifty members that’s constantly on the lookout for new ideas and fresh perspectives. It is also a great way to get to know others in the community your age and to network. The group’s hope is that, through their efforts, De Smet will continue to be a great place to live, work and raise a family for many generations to come. Isn’t it time you got involved?
